Choose The Right Job and Stick With It
Career planning is not as simple as getting a job and sticking with it to high heavens. Long term placements are a must for career success.
Before getting into the application process, it is wise to be able to size up one’s personal choices and inclination in terms of capability, training and view towards work.
Size up what you like best. You might be stuck in an 8-to5 job without any field work and complain about it. Therefore, examine closely the job descriptions of the jobs you are applying for. Constant change of job assignments would surely jeopardize your long-term career plans and would not go up the ladder as much as one desires.
Choose the company and size up if it suits your type of person, whether you can be excited with job or be bored with it, or whether or not a dead end position is looking at you in the face in a big way.
So choose the right job for you, not just any job.
